Welcome to the NATO Innovation Challenge 2025/June, hosted by Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and Joint Analysis, Training And Education Centre (JATEC).
This edition focuses on one of today’s most urgent battlefield threats: Fiber-Optic-Controlled First-Person View (FPV) Drones. These next-generation drones, resistant to traditional electronic warfare countermeasures, present a new challenge to NATO and partner forces.
We are calling on industry and academia to submit innovative concepts, systems, and integrated architectures to detect, prioritise, track, and neutralise fiber-optic-controlled FPV drones — and similar low-cost unmanned threats.
