Kvertus launches mass production of UGV-based electronic warfare system

On-board electronic warfare disrupts the frequencies used by kamikaze drones, bombers, and multi-rotor drones

The Ukrainian company Kvertus has unveiled the mobile electronic warfare system Kvertus AD Berserk, based on a ground robotic complex, which is now entering mass production. This was announced by the company’s CEO, Yaroslav Filimonov.

The new system has a range and control distance of up to 20 kilometres, and an autonomy of 12 hours. The on-board electronic warfare module creates interference across all frequencies used by kamikaze drones, bombers, and multi-rotor drones.

According to information on the Kvertus website, the integrated electronic warfare system covers control frequencies ranging from 220 to 1050 MHz, as well as video channels at 2.4 and 5.8 GHz. The effective range of the omnidirectional antennas is up to 800 metres, and of the directional antennas — up to 1,500 metres.

The main tasks of the Berserk complex include covering the evacuation of the wounded, supporting demining operations, assisting in assault missions, and protecting logistical routes.

According to Militarnyi, this system is likely a further development of the Volya-E complex, which the company presented in September 2024. The unmanned tracked platform with a universal electronic warfare module is capable of operating 3–4 kilometres beyond the line of contact, effectively countering reconnaissance drones, dropped munitions, and FPV kamikaze drones.

Kvertus specialises in the development and production of counter-drone technologies. The company’s portfolio includes stationary, portable, and intelligent electronic warfare systems, EW units for vehicles, as well as dedicated power sources.
