The Ministry of Defence codifies new strike drone “Ronni-13”

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has officially codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces the unmanned aerial vehicle “Ronni-13”. It is most likely a development by the company Warmax.

The drone, which features fibre-optic control, was developed with consideration of combat experience. It is equipped with a strong and lightweight frame, capacitive batteries and powerful brushless motors, enabling it to carry a combat payload over long distances to target enemy personnel and equipment.

“Ronni-13” can be fitted with various types of cameras, including those suitable for daytime and night-time operations. The system provides a control range of up to 20 km via fibre optics, with a maximum take-off weight of 8.5 kg and a payload capacity of up to 3 kg. The package includes two low-resistance batteries to ensure stable performance under load, a universal mount, and a fibre-optic coil.

Each unit undergoes individual testing prior to delivery to ensure reliable operation in combat conditions.

In addition to the “Ronni-13”, smaller drones of this type are available on the market — including the previously codified “Ronni-10”, which also uses fibre-optic control. Warmax also manufactures electronic warfare systems, antenna amplifiers, modules, and control units.
