Brave1 tested small FPV bomber drones іn an active electronic warfare environment
The test involved 14 drones ranging in size from 10 to 18 inches

The Brave1 defence technology cluster conducted tests of small bomber drones to assess their effectiveness in an active electronic warfare environment. The evaluation focused on payload capacity, flight range, and ease of use in combat situations.
Small FPV bomber drones are considered effective and affordable tools for targeting enemy personnel and fortifications. They can carry up to 3 kg of explosives, are relatively inexpensive, and are often reusable.
According to the test protocol, each drone had to fly 10 km while exposed to electronic warfare systems, drop ammunition on a target, and return. A total of 14 FPV drones, ranging in size from 10 to 18 inches, participated in the trial. Some of them successfully completed the mission.

Brave1 has not disclosed which specific drones participated in the trials. However, images released alongside the press statement reveal a bomber drone from the well-known Ukrainian manufacturer SkyFall, as well as a device labeled “Koshmaryk.”
“FPV bombers have become an integral part of modern warfare and have significantly enhanced the capabilities of the Ukrainian military during the full-scale invasion,” commented Nataliya Kushnerska, CEO of the Brave1 cluster.
The tests were conducted with the involvement of representatives from Ukraine’s Security and Defence Forces. This collaboration enables manufacturers to tailor their developments to the practical needs of the military.
Previously, the cluster conducted trials of ground robotic platforms and fibre-optic drones. A significant portion of these technologies is already in use on the front line.
