Government includes UGVs in the “Army of Drones” bonus programme

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded the “Army of Drones” bonus programme to include unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), the Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced today.

From now on, military units will be able to earn e-Points for logistical operations conducted with the help of UGVs. The announcement did not specify how the military will confirm the completion of these logistical tasks.

According to Fedorov, the expansion of the programme will help track logistical operations and provide an impetus for the development of this area across all units of the Security and Defence Forces.

Previously, bonus e-Points were awarded only for the successful use of unmanned aerial vehicles, artillery, and mine-laying. Thanks to accumulated points, the military has already ordered equipment worth more than UAH 1 billion through state marketplaces, including over 22,000 FPV drones, bomber drones, reconnaissance UAVs, and electronic warfare systems.

The implementation of the new programme model has been made possible through the integration of Brave1 Market, the DELTA system, and DOT-Chain Defence.
