The Ukrainian company NoviTechNet<\/a> is testing the compact surface drone Ursula. The drone boat is designed for both reconnaissance and combat missions \u2014 it can carry an explosive charge or other drones, the \u201cAssociation of Ukrainian Engineers\u201d reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The length of the boat is about a metre, and it can conduct reconnaissance on rivers, canals or coastal areas. As Defender Media has learned, \u201cUrsula\u201d can be used as a platform for various tasks. The boat can carry up to 9 kg of explosives \u2014 for example, an anti-tank mine \u2014 and remain in standby mode for up to two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Association notes that the new boat can be effectively used during sabotage and reconnaissance operations in difficult conditions of the river network and frontline water areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
