The system was designed as a portable countermeasure against FPV drones and other UAVs. It has already been listed on the Brave1 <a href=\"https:\/\/market-brave1.delta.mil.gov.ua\/kompleks-reb-okopnyi-rad-v1.1-400-1100-mhts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">marketplace<\/a>. Defender Media spoke with a representative of High Tech Solutions about the system\u2019s capabilities and its current status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company states that the development of RAD v1.1 took approximately a year. RAD v1.1 has already passed testing and is currently in use by combat units. It has entered serial production and is presently undergoing codification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RAD v1.1 has a modular design and consists of two units, each with three frequency channels. The basic version operates in the 400\u20131100 MHz range, and its configuration can be expanded to cover 300\u20135850 MHz depending on operational requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-left wp-element-button\" href=\"http:\/\/stage.thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/12\/sky-spy-raised-pre-seed\/\"><strong>Read more:<\/strong> Ukrainian Sky Spy raises $1.6 million to produce portable SIGINT system<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The device is equipped with a built-in 50 A\u00b7h battery that provides up to nine hours of operation. The system weighs up to 13 kg including the battery, delivers up to 300 W of output power and can generate interference within a radius of up to 500 metres. RAD v1.1 can be powered by its own battery, the mains or a vehicle power system. It also supports the installation of external antennas and remote operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RAD v1.1 supports the installation of external antennas. They can be mounted on vehicles to enhance protection, or positioned away from the operator\u2019s location to improve concealment and safety.
