Huless, a platform for tethered and hybrid drones, receives $1 million

Ukrainian startup Huless, which develops a platform for tethered and hybrid drones, has raised $1 million through private financing, loans and grants, reports AIN.UA.

The private investors include active angel investors in the Defence Tech sector, as well as a lead investor who wishes to remain anonymous. The funding also included a loan from a state-owned bank for a government contract and grants from Brave1 for research and development of the flagship product, Highline-T.

“The Highline-T is a tethered drone designed as a multifunctional platform capable of staying in the air for long periods of time and performing critical functions such as communications relay or electronic reconnaissance. Thanks to its modular design and EW protection, the system meets the requirements of modern military operations,” the company said.

The developer met with angel investors at Defence Tech Valley, a summit organised by Brave1, as Mykhailo Fedorov wrote in his Telegram channel.

“These funds will help us to enter the market faster and implement the concept of communication with variable-height antennas,” said Huless CEO Taras Semeniuk.
