Grants for drone inventors: up to ₴8 million from the state

Drone manufacturers will receive grants of up to ₴8 million under the Recycling program. This decision was made by the government, according to the Ministry of Economy’s website.

Deputy Minister of Economy Nadiia Bihun noted that the application procedure will be the same as for other manufacturers, but the conditions for drone manufacturers will be preferential. They will be able to receive a grant for 80% of the project cost, which was previously available only to enterprises in the frontline areas. In addition, drone manufacturers can consider working capital replenishment as their own contribution to the project cost.

Grants can be used for:

1. Establishment of new or expansion of existing enterprises engaged in the production of air and space aircraft and related equipment.
2. Purchase of fixed assets that cannot be alienated, as well as delivery and commissioning.

Individuals and legal entities operating under KVED 30.30 (drone manufacturers) can apply. Applications are submitted through Diia. Participants must fulfill several requirements: use the grant for its intended purpose within a year, create new jobs, and pay taxes, fees, and unified social security contributions on the amount of the grant within three years of receiving it.
