Salute for Shaheds. Ukrainian developers have created a drone interceptor to destroy enemy UAVs

Ukrainian engineers have unveiled the Salute interceptor drone, developed to counter enemy Shahed-type kamikaze UAVs, the team told Militarnyi.
According to the engineers, Salute was created based on real combat experience in close cooperation with military units. Just a month after development began, the team travelled directly to the combat zone to demonstrate the prototype to air defence units. They brought 3D printers, tools and desktop computers with them to refine the system in the field.
During a week of work in rented accommodation near the front line, the drone was almost completely redesigned in accordance with the practical requirements of the military. Since then, complex changes have been integrated within two weeks, and minor refinements within a matter of days.

During the design phase, the developers immediately laid out realistic scenarios for use: typical air threats, target speeds, detection and engagement conditions, as well as requirements for simplicity and reliability of operation in combat conditions.
The team also released a video of the Salute in combat use — the destruction of a Russian Shahed strike drone by fighters from the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade ‘Magura’ from the Sky Wars unit.
Among the key advantages, developers note integration with the sine.link platform and the possibility of stable serial supply.
Salute is presented on the Brave1 marketplace and is available in a closed catalogue for users registered in the Delta system.
