BARYER air‑defence interceptor drone revealed

A new BARYER air‑defence interceptor drone has appeared on the marketplace of the state defence cluster Brave1. The unmanned system is designed to intercept and engage moving aerial targets at the tactical level and comes in two variants: one with a daylight camera and the other with a thermal imaging camera.

Both versions feature a 10‑inch frame, cruise at 90 km/h and can accelerate up to 200 km/h. The declared operational range is 25 km, with a recommended payload of 0.4 kg, although the drone is capable of carrying up to 1.5 kg.

The control‑link antennas can be adjusted horizontally, vertically, and by tilt angle relative to the operator’s position, improving signal quality and range. The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro video system provides a stable connection, minimal latency and high‑definition imagery.

The manufacturer states that the drone can be fitted with an inertial navigation system and that its configuration can be adapted to meet the requirements of different units and operational scenarios.

At present, no information is available regarding the codification of the BARYER drone.
