Ukrainian JET Company has unveiled the JET MAX bomber drone, capable of carrying up to eight munitions

At the Joint Ventures, Joint Defence forum, held by Technological Forces of Ukraine (TFU) at the end of August, Ukrainian company JET Company showcased its JET MAX bomber drone. According to Oboronka, its key feature is eight hardpoints for munitions.

The drone is designed to destroy enemy equipment, communications systems and personnel at distances of up to 15 kilometres from the front line. It can carry a combat payload of up to 20 kg at a speed of 60 km/h, while without a payload it can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h. Its flight time ranges from 25 to 40 minutes, depending on the load.

The ammunition platform has a modular design: the drone can carry either two heavy charges for destroying armoured targets or structures, or up to eight lighter munitions for striking equipment and enemy troops.

Control is provided by a two-person crew. Operation is carried out via a Ukrainian-built radio station equipped with directional and log-periodic antennas, functioning across a wide frequency range.

The “intelligent” systems of the drone were developed in Ukraine. Domestic production supplies the hulls, frames and mounts, while engines, propellers, carbon tubes and a camera with ninefold magnification are imported. At the same time, the company is seeking Ukrainian-made alternatives.

JET MAX is currently undergoing the codification process.
