The buyer is EDGE Group, a defence conglomerate owned by the UAE\u2019s sovereign wealth fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BBC notes that Fire Point has already submitted the relevant documents to the Antimonopoly Committee. The company also plans to produce its own air defence systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fire Point co-founder Denys Shtilerman <a href=\"http:\/\/stage.thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/11\/fire-point-event-longread\/\">first spoke publicly about plans to sell a stake in the company<\/a> to a sovereign wealth fund of a foreign country during a meeting with journalists in late November.
