Brave1: The heavy bomber Perun X-9 has already struck more than 5,000 enemy targets

The reusable bomber drone Perun X-9 has been used on the frontline since 2022 and has already hit more than 5,000 enemy targets. This was reported in a publication on the Brave1 marketplace, where Defence Forces units can order this item.

Perun X-9 is designed for a range of mission profiles: precision strikes against armoured vehicles and personnel, logistical missions (delivery of water, food and ammunition), support for assault groups at the front line, and remote mining. The platform is equipped with thermal imaging support and autonomous video recording, allowing it to operate by day and night.

The bomber’s maximum striking range is up to 25 km. It can remain airborne for up to 50 minutes and carry up to 16 kilograms of payload. Its cruise speed is 54 km/h and its maximum speed is 72 km/h.

The platform features a modular release system — from one to eight munitions — which allows the loadout to be varied depending on the mission.

In open-source searches, Defender Media found no information on who exactly manufactures the Perun X-9. Brave1 Market states that the manufacturer provides full lifecycle support: from crew training to repair and technical maintenance. Pilots are trained by military instructors with practical experience over a two-week course; after training the team receives 24/7 service and rapid access to spare parts and technical support.

Recently, Defender Media reported that the British-Ukrainian startup Trypillian unveiled its own bomber. The company also showcased a line of FPV drones and several other developments.
